Advanced tolling and access control

Through the UNICO 5G CityBrain R&D project, Opus has installed a system for continuous measurement of traffic emissions on one of the main entrance roads to the city of Granada, in southern Spain. Coupled with new solutions and methodologies for detecting large emitting vehicles in urban environments, this solution aims to revolutionize the way in which cities can find the most polluting vehicles in city centers.

The project includes new sensor methods, analytics, information processing and securization, and integration with cameras and Smart City systems. The goal is to provide cities with new mobility management platforms that include the control of the most polluting vehicles in their territory.
